DEBBY BOLAND WATT, a vocalist, arts educator & composer, earned her Master of Fine Arts from Goddard College in Improvisation and as a Jazz Vocalist has a Bachelors Degree from Seattle's Cornish College of the Arts. Born in Chicago, she now lives in Tacoma and calls the Pacific Northwest her home. Debby has prepped students for auditions at Seattle's Paramount Theatre as well as Seattle Children's Theatre, Issaquah Village Theatre, Youth Theatre NW, Island Choral Experience, Studio East, area schools and more. Dusty Strings Music School supports one of her four NW Studios where she teaches Creative Vocal Techniques to students of every age. 
In this brand new class offering at Dusty Strings Music School, you'll work on both your Voice and your Theatre skills increasing technical prowess while crafting the best vocal performance possible. At the end of our four weeks together you'll present your audition to the class. In a supportive environment you'll receive constructive feedback.  Please bring two contrasting songs and a monologue. If you're unsure as to whether your pieces are appropriate for your audition, age, etc. simply contact Ms. Watt or Mr. Shue in advance. Accompaniment provided. Enrollment may be limited.
